Cherry bud makeup tutorial

I love a slight ombré lip, you know how the edge of a rose petal is darker and then goes lighter? That’s what I was thinking of when doing my makeup for an event in Europe. I wanted to match my cherry red accessories, so I chose a cherry theme for the makeup. When I posted it on stories you all asked for a breakdown and the products I used. Soooo let’s call this look the cherry bud and I’ll break it down in steps.

The lip:

I started with lining my lips with Anastasia Beverly Hills lip liner in “auburn”. Then I added a bit of Julep “it’s balm” in “cherry wood crème”. And finally a thick layer of Clarins lip comfort oil in “cherry” which is a deep red tinted super shiny oil. Super easy.

Ok for the skin,

I used my favorite BB cream from Erborian in the shade “dore” to add a little warmth in my skin without covering too much of my actual skin. Concealed with this new serum concealer I’ve been loving from Tower 28 called ktown. And then I put a bit of Anastasia Beverly Hills cream bronzer in golden tan (it has the most amazing wet, glowy finish and looks like real skin). Finished my cheeks with ILIA multi stick face palette (the only blush palette I bring for travel because it has 6 shades of blushes to go with any look). I mixed “in the mood” and “tenderly” for a pop of warm pink to tie in the lip and then finished the look with Pat Mcgrath's skin fetish sublime blurring under eye powder which I use under eyes but also around my nose and wherever I want a blurring effect (it photographs like you’re wearing a filter).

Moving on to eyes

I contoured them a bit with the Milk makeup sculpt cream in “toasted”. Smoked out with a dark brown cream pencil from Surratt in the shade “fumee brun”, and finished with my favorite black mascara from YSL (It's called lash clash, It’s superior).

And voila! You’re done!

Hope I didn’t make that too complicated❤️
