Making clothes is my happy state of mind. Sketching, imagining shapes, picking fabrics, choosing the perfect button… going through every shade of pale pink to find the softest, most delicate one. I feel particularly attached to this collection — just like I do with every summer. Maybe it’s because I can remember exactly what I wore on all my favorite summer days. Summer is for making forever memories, and I wanted to create a collection of perfect, timeless, easy staples to carry you through all of them.

I chose my favorite colors: white, blue, and pale pink. It’s the same palette I chose for our very first Helsa drop — the ones I always return to when I think of warm days in the sun. There’s a feeling of freedom I wanted to capture: fresh white cotton poplin with delicate anglaise details, the crispest shirts in sky blue, relaxed shapes trimmed in lace, unforgettable dresses to wear a hundred summers to come.
